Geocache Description:

An easy one way ¼ mile walkabout.

The cache was placed in Jackson Park, a popular Henderson County recreation park. The parking coordinates are N35 19.105 W082 26.986. From the parking area, go back across the main road, turn right, and a quick left onto a trail that parallels the creek, on the RIGHT side of it. Continue east, along a level trail that will soon split. Stay to the left, on the lower trail. The cache is a large white plastic vitamin bottle. It is located about 90 feet to the right and uphill of the trail. The park has constructed a new disc golf course, and the cache is located within 50 feet of the hole 6 disc catcher.

During mosquito season you will almost surely encounter some “caffeinated” mosquitoes and we suggest bringing mosquito repellant.

Please remember that animals have a much keener sense of smell than we humans. Please do not place food, candy, gum, or any other scented items such as soaps, candles or "wipes" in the cache, as animals often mistake these items as food, and will destroy the cache container trying to get to it. Also, please hide the cache container so it is not visible, so that other geocachers may enjoy in the hunt. - Thanks
