Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is located just off of a well traveled dirt road
approximately 2 miles west of I-25 on CoRd 120. Recommend
approaching from the south because of all the hills and dips which
can be a fun ride for the kids but still be careful of some traffic
that might come along. This is a DRIVE--BY CACHE ONLY. There is no
cache, no logs, no emails. It is a view only cache.
This cache is located near the old Cheyenne and Black Hills Stage
route, which started in Cheyenne at the Cheyenne--Deadwood Stage
Start cache. The route was developed as a result of the Black Hills
Gold Rush in 1876. It was in operation from 1876 – 1887 and ran
between Cheyenne and Deadwood, South Dakota. Thousands of
passengers, tons of freight and express, and millions of dollars
and gold passed over this trail until it was superseded by the
railroad. For more information, check out
