Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Miocene(25 Million Years Ago)
Scuba Gear No Longer Required (Present day)

Feel free to visit as often as you like, but only 1 find per cacher

Come and frolic with the sea life of 25 million years ago or so. OK, maybe not frolic, but you can take home some of their remains. The good news is this is a 1 star cache, because you no longer need your scuba gear to check out this cache – but if you had visited 25 million years ago, you would have been diving among megalodons and friends.

The coordinates are for a remnants pile. The pile is open to the public and material is free for the taking. The local mining operation, which donates the waste, can be viewed while you take the car ferry over to Bath - a trip worth taking if you've come all this way. Try the link below to identify what you find – or if their open, wander across the street and look at the display of all the things that could be found.

Don’t worry about bringing trinkets, this cache come fully stocked – all the time. But you may want a trowel or small shovel and some baggies. In a half hour you could have a mouth worth of old teeth. Enjoy the hunt.

Bonus point: post photos of what you find from digging. Exactly who does this belong to?
