jeb and co: The box has gone and the its former location is now clearly visible so it is not practicable to replace it. It has had a good life and a nearby cache gives even better views.

Near the small tor Carn Grey, a short walk from a car park.
Carn Grey is a small granite outcrop or tor situated near the road from St Austell to Luxulyan. Further along the road, through the village of Trethurgy is the main enrance to the Eden Project.
Car parking is available at N 50 21.775 W 004 45.890. The path to the left of the display board in the car park leads to a small quarry which is now partly flooded and is used for fishing. The path to the right leads to the cache . On the way to the cache you will pass the tor which is well worth climbing for the view over St Austell Bay (the side away from the quarry is the easiest to climb). Rough Tor and Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor can be seen to the east.
The cache is a plastic sandwich box in a grey polythene bag and contains a log book and an assortment of items.
After finding the cache, a walk up the rounded hill side to the west is well worthwhile, from there the views are wider and it is possible to look down into a china clay pit which is very like the one used for the Eden Project before it was developed.
