Geocache Description:

My fellow geocachers seem to like the easy ones, so here we go with another relatively easy find. The cache is in an ammo can at an elevation of 5874 feet. It contains a first, second, and third place ribbon for the first, second, and third finder.

The name of this cache is a bit of a play on words. Some of you may remember a 50s/60s song titled Morena Morena, or something like that. I've included in the cache a print of the words to a song that may be the song I so vaguely remember. I challenge those of you with a better memory than mine, or perhaps one who knows their trivia, to visit this cache and refresh my sorry memory.

The play on words continues. The geologic feature on which you find this cache is known as a glacial moraine. Over the last million years the Sierras have undergone several periods off glaciation. The results of those glacial periods are the beautifuly carved mountains to your west,and the huge piles of carvings on which this cache sits. The carvings are known as glacial till. Their general composure can be observed in the road cuts near this cache. There are several types of moraines, as explained in the information to be found in the cache. Give me your read on what type of moraine you think this is.

In the cache there is a logbook, a pencil, and a Geocaching Site Notice. The original contents of this cache are:

* Rustic Picture frame made by Notsosmart.
* Tanya Tucker casette.
* 50s/60s Pocket trivia game.
* African violet pot.
* Collectors eight track, "The Mamas and Papas".
* Smokey quartz crystal from the White Mountains.
* Colorful earplugs.
* Alexander's Star puzzle.
