Good Dog Abby Traditional Cache

Cache placed in honor of our good dog Abby. She enjoys the geocaching trips as much as we do, especially if squirrels are around.
This is a ammo can cache hidden a short distance off the Appalachian Trail. Parking location is N40 02.430, W77 20.494. If this lot is full, you can park down the road at a few places. Please avoid the direct route and stay on the Appalachian Trail - off roading it won't save much distance. Also, this was done parking then heading south on the trail. You can enter heading north but I am not familiar with this route and it could be more difficult.
Enjoy the area of the cache as numerous thru hikers surely have. Please also note the reforestation area as marked and avoid walking in that area - you can reach the cache without treking through the section.
The cache, since it was dedicated to Abby, is full of toys for dogs. Hopefully your furry friend is able to make the trip in order to choose a play toy themselves. Feel free to contribute anything a dog might like to play with (cats and food excluded). Enjoy.
