Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by my parents (who actually live in CO) I live in Indiana. I have not been to this Canyon. I am going to adjust levels based on who actually visits the cache. Please log as much info in your log, to help me better determine the correct ratings, on both difficulty & terrain. I do believe this will be a difficult trek!

This cache is a Medium SZ Ammo Box, located in "ESCALANTE CANYON". The cache contains the usual caching goodies! I am the owner of this box, but I did not place the box. I will need fellow geocachers, like yourself, to better determine the correct ratings. Based on the info given to me by my parents (who actually placed the cache) I believe this to be a level (5) TERRAIN. If you disagree, with either of the ratings on this cache, log it. The appropriate changes will be made. I do not have parking coordinates, but you will need to park by "Captain Smith's Cabin". The road will be a combination of dirt & gravel. A rough terrain vehicle may be your best bet. If you come to a creek you've passed the parking spot. Happy Geocaching!
