This cache is Indiana's oldest unarchived cache! This was
the third cache placed in the state of Indiana in 2000 and the only
one that has never been archived and brought back into service. The
first cache placed in Indiana was “Indiana's First” placed on
10/23/00 followed by "Purdue Boilermaker" and then "Turkey Run
Stash".
Turkey Run Stash was originally placed by Nicki &
Doug Gundersen about a month after "Indiana's First" on
11/25/00.
In 2006 Turkey Run Stash was adopted by Cowboy and properly
registered with the DNR to prevent its removal from the park.

The cache is a 50 caliber ammo box. Please hide it as well or
better than you found it. The coordinates were recorded during the
winter when there was no foliage to interfere with the signal. In
the summer months you may be better off following the hint.
Make sure you visit the Narrows Covered Bridge and cache just 1/2
mile east of here. If you look through the vegetation after the
bend in the creek you will see the bridge off in the distance.
