Geocache Description:

One of the great things about the Bay Area is the many open spaces and regional parks. This cache was placed to honor the memory of William Penn Mott, Jr., who played a big role in the acquisition of Briones regional park in the 1960s.

The cache is in a small film container and contains only a small logbook and the geocaching letter - please bring your own pen/pencil. Sign the log to let us know you were there and enjoy the beautiful views in all directions from the cache site.
