Geocache Description:

The cache is only a few hundred yards from a road

This cache is near one of my favorite fishing spots. if you wish to fish here bring flyfishing gear. The trout are HUGE! The State regulations require Catch and release fishing only. The best fishing is found along this highly productive spring creek between the two hatcheries. Try buggers/leeches in the winter and chronimids and scuds year round. Dry flies get hot in spring through fall mostly in sizes 18-22.
There are two bridges that provide access to the east and west sides of the creek and a fishing dock for those with disabilities. Enormous trout can be easily seen from almost anywhere. My kids love to go there just to watch the fish. This spot is beautiful year round and there always seems to be a muskrat or mink and various waterfowl mucking about in the area. So, there is plenty to enjoy if you are not a fisher person.
The cache itself is a medium sized white canister with about 3/4 gallon capacity. Please keep this cache in good shape by trading items of equal value.
