Near the desert tortoise intaglio(a mysterious intaglio) north of the Barstow drive-in. North of the intaglio is the general area where the cache is hidden. The coordinates for the the intaglio are N34° 55.501 W116° 57.412. In Barstow, follow old Hwy. 58 east, just past the drive-in, turn left on dirt road. /at .8 miles the road forks, stay to the right, at the second fork at 1.1 miles stay to left. At 1.6 miles turn to left, then sharp right (you will see a rock cairn) and you are at the tortoise intaglio.
