Geocache Description:

This is an easy family cache located just off the Florence Rail Trail.

The Florence Rail Trail opened in 2002 and consists of approximately 1.5 miles of paved trail along the old rail bed and a shorter wooded loop trail conecting to the parking area. (Parking coordinates are N34 11.093;
W079 49.283) The trail is open to walkers, runners, cyclists, and skaters and leashed pets are welcome.
Hours are sunrise to sunset.

This area can be very busy, especially on weekends and in the evening, so the key to the cache is getting it without being seen. Watch out for spiders and snakes as usual in this area. I have seen a copperhead on the trail not far from here.

This is meant to be an easy cache. The coords are not very good due to tree cover, but the cache location can be spotted from 30 feet away. Use the clue if needed. There is no bushwhacking or climbing required. Cache is on the south side (not the Pepsi side) of the rail trail. Cache container is a medium size camo plastic container with screw top.

After you find the cache continue a short distance along the rail trail to a bridge at N34 11.050, W079 49.559. This is a nice view if the creek is not dry. Please stay on the gravel trail to climb up the embankment. The trail continues to Ebenezer Park where there are tennis courts, restrooms, and a playground.
