I regret that I have some bad news regarding your Preserve Our Heritage cache.

In bill H3794 signed by the governor on June 2, 2009, the South Carolina General Assembly prohibited geocaching on all wildlife management areas, heritage preserves, and all other lands owned by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.

Please retrieve the physical cache at your earliest convenience. If it is not convenient for you to do so, please let me know and I may be able to have someone in the area remove it and arrange its return to you.

Geocache Description:

Look for the Heritage Preserve Sign and park in the lot. This is an easy walk along a relatively flat trail. The cache has been completely restocked. Please trade fairly. The cache can be accessed on foot by path, or brush busting which would be very easy. or by bicycle most of the way. This is at the present time wonderfully free of trash. Remember cache in trash out. There is ample parking at the entrance to the preserve located on highway 162.
