In placing this cache I immediately was drawn to the most visible landmark in the area. When I got to this landmark, I soon discovered that it was a draw to everyone else as well. I then placed the cache using the landmark as my starting and return point. You can probably drive closer to the cache if you don't mind the ruts and thorns.
The cache is in an ammo box and will be pretty well hidden when things green up. As always in West Texas be mindful of the cactus and the thorns on every bush and tree. Also watch for snakes in warmer weather.
The cache contained the following items when placed:
Toy Car from the Angel's Peak Prize cache, pair of sunglasses, a snake puzzle, stickers, kalidescope, screw driver, aftershave, calculator, pez, small knife swiss army type.
