Take highway 95 north, Turn left at Indian Springs prison turn off. Turn right at the Wheeler Pass turn off, Stop and feed the Gold Fish, then keep going. You will need high clearance because the road is rocky. I only needed 4-Wheel on one spot because of the ice.

A Belt that's too small
My Father and I took this road when we got our first 4X4 back in 1976. I have been looking for it for the last three years, always missing the turn off going up from Pahrump. Well we found it today coming in from HWY 95 side. So that's the way I'm sending you. The road is rough and rocky so you will need off-road tires or 4X4. This is a beautiful drive, a very nice area so close to Las Vegas.
Please abide to the posted road rules, and as always be careful and prepared.
