Schaeffer Moon Walk Multi-Cache

The cache is located in the Tom Mays Unit of the Franklin Mountains
State Park in El Paso, Texas -- Schaeffer Shuffle Trail. The park
entrance fee is $4.00 per person. Park hours are 7 days per week,
8A to 5P. A map of the park provided at the booth entrance will
prove helpful for newcomers. This is a moderate trail. Enjoy!!
The coordinates for the cache are N 31.56.285 and W 106.30.542. As
you are in a canyon, the coordinates will not be 100% accurate, but
just hunt around for a UPR and you will find it!! It will take you
about 25-30 minutes to get to the cache site. At this point, you
can turn around and go back the way you came, or you can finish the
trail, which will take you about another 1.5 to 2 hours to complete
the entire trail. Please make sure you have enough water and are
dressed appropriately. This is a very beautiful trail and my
favorite one in this portion of the park. Either way, I hope you
