Geocache Description:

This site will be a nice addition to those who are following the Lewis and Clark Trail along the Missouri River.

This site is one of a string connecting places of interest visited by Lewis and Clark on this section of their expedition from the southern to the northern borders of Nebraska and Iowa. While you visit this spot, you will notice the spectacular view of the Missouri River and can almost picture the Corps of Discovery working their way up or down the river. There is a restaurant close by and a spectacular statue representing labor. You will want to see the sign telling about Captain Clark and Private Field along with the keelboat replica. Opposite the river is the brand new Omaha Civic Auditorium and the attractive road to Epply Airfield. You will be right by the bridge connecting Council Bluffs and Omaha, so you can enjoy both cities.

Effective 10-4-2016, I had to make a change due to construction. To claim a find on this cache, post a picture of yourself by the "Monument to Labor" statue in your best "Lewis & Clark" pose. Get creative and have fun! Logs with no picture after 10-4-2016 will be deleted.
