Helpful Haven of Home Improvement
Being a homeowner,
Spud is on a first name basis with the staff at Home Depot. In fact it seems
as though he spends more time there then he does at home in his burlap sack!
He's garnered quite the reputation as a handy hashbrown, that Bob Vila even
calls him for advice!
In an effort to share some handy tidbits with his fellow caching community,
Spud has filled up a bucket of items aimed at fixing or improving things around
the house. He's stashed the white pail somewhere in a neat location off the
beaten track in a rarely visited spot. As always, its doggie friendly so if
you come to the Haven, be sure to bring along the pet! Just be sure to bring
along a trade item that fits the theme of the cache - things for fixing
or improving one's life at home.
Getting to the cache
will require just a touch of brain power. The cache coordinate listed above will
get you to the parking area for the cache. Those exact coordinates will take you
to an important sign that you should read. In the lower right hand corner of the
sign, you'll find a phone number. The phone number is in the format (XXX)-XXX-XXXX
Add up the sum
of the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th numbers. Write that number down. This will
be number A
Add up the sum
of the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th numbers. Write that number down. This will
be number B
Subtract B from
A, enter that number in these missing coordinates: N
43.49.4XX
Now for the West coordinates.
Add up the sum
of the first 9 numbers in the phone number. Write that number in these missing
coordinates: W 79.11.7XX
