Quinault Quest Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden on a less traveled part of the Lake Quinault rain forest trail.
The cache is located on the left, just off a stretch of trail that opened a few years ago. Take time to admire the spectacular view as you cross Gatton Creek Bridge. The trail is well maintained, but steep in places.
Park at the trailhead opposite Gatton Creek campground (about half a mile east of the Lake Quinault Lodge). A Northwest Forest Pass is required to park. You can also park for free in the lot between the Lodge and the Ranger Station, and walk to the trailhead.
The cache is in a Rubbermaid container, wrapped in a grocery bag.
