Geocache Description:

This virtual location was found by my wife and told to me. It is the National Scouting Museum and Youth/Family Research Center in Los Colinas. I didn’t have the opportunity to go inside but I figured I’d get it out there for people to find.

I really feel odd about making a cache around Scouting. I was a Scout for a while and it was fun and I learned a lot, but it didn’t last. You see, as a kid I grew up without a father at home and was raised by my mother. Quite often times where tough. When it came time to get a uniform we couldn’t afford one, so to avoid the embarrassment I quit. I have always admired the Scouts who see it thru to the end and become Scout Masters themselves.

Ok, enough of that, poor little GeoVamp. ;-( I got past that and look how well I turned out! ;-)

Well, to claim this cache e-mail the YEAR at the bottom of the statue of the Scout in the front of the building. IF YOU FILE A REPORT WITH OUT AN E-MAIL, I’LL HAVE ONE OF TEXAS TIGERS BOYS SET IT ON FIRE WITH TWO STICKS
