Nice family picnic spot near recreational lake with good swimming and fair fishing. Easy access.
Nice 0.75 mile hike on gated fire road with gentle incline. That is if you park at N48* 22.418 and W114* 02.087. "Think of the north end of a south bound Lion". At 0.75 miles, turn right and bushwack for approx 75 feet. Darn, I knew I forgot something. Don't forget to bring the bug spray!!! Try to have good satellite coverage as there is some tree cover at this point. You should now find an old abandoned logging trail. Getting close!!! Cache is a 2 gallon grey plastic paint bucket. You MAY have to have your partner help uncover the cache. It is visible from the logging trail. Inside you will find over 25 items ranging from nicknacks from the younger kids (plastic dinosaur, mini radio and stuffed animal) to a Garth Brooks Double Live CD and Daily Planner to some camping supplies (blanket, matches and flashlight). Cache also contains some bill$!!!. Please sign the log and take a picture. Also would really appreciate a post here on GeoCache.com. After replacing cache, you may want to enjoy the foot path to the right (the abandoned logging trail!). It goes down directly to the lake and is VERY pretty and relaxing.
