This is a 2 part virtual drive-by cache to 2 points of interest ( C and D ) described below often visited by tourists. There seems to be some interest in solving these as geometry problems. The coords given above are at the midpoint of AB and may or may not be of any use in solving this problem.
Perched high above Pine Hill near the Wright’s Tower in my stomping grounds of the Middlesex Fells at point A ( N42 26.164 , W 71 6.300 ), I can see an American Eagle flying high above Great Hill in South Acton at point B ( N 42 28.287 , W 71 27.250 ). Interestingly, on this line of sight AB, there are 2 monuments C and D whose west coordinates are given respectively as W 71 13.806 and W 71 20.953. These 2 points are exactly on this line of sight. Parking is available at each location.
To get credit for the find you must email me with a short description of the monuments ( be very accurate because there is more than one monument in each location ). Also, describe the method you used to make the calculation of the missing coordinates, since there are several ways the problem can be solved.
