This Church officially known as the Wambaw Church is situated on what was the Kings Highway. It was erected in 1768 for a parish founded in 1706 by the French Huguenot settlers. The parish was the second oldest in the colony.
Most old churches have a small churchyard where are laid to rest a number of their members. This one is no different and although small, the grave sites span nearly 300 years. One of the most recent residents of this place "loved life, and his fellow man". These co-ords are for this mans resting place. To log your find: Log it normally without mentioning the answer, and e-mail me with the four words telling what this gracious man offers.
