This cache is located on the grounds of the University of South Alabama. USA is a college of approximately 14,000 students, the largest employer in Mobile, and my alma mater. The cache is in an undeveloped, wooded area of the university near a small lake. If you are new to caching, this is an easy first cache. Additionally, this is a great cache for children and dogs. The trails are wide, easy to follow, and very nice for them to run around on.
Park at 30 42.048 and 88 11.085 and walk the last 0.2 miles. You will be tempted to turn to the north immediately and head through some thick woods. Don't. Walk west for a few hundred yards and you will find an easy to walk trail leading to the north that will get you to within 150 feet of the cache. The tree cover vegetation is not very thick during the winter months but it thickens considerably during the summer. This makes for very nice shade in the summer months and a nice cool walk, but it is difficult for the GPSr to get a decent signal. But no fear, even with a bad signal, the hint will get you to the cache.
Lastly, there is nothing more frustrating than going to the trouble to find a cache and not being able to locate it. Because of this, the hint is a dead give away. You may want to print a copy of the hint, fold it up with out reading it and bring it as a backup while using an encoded copy for the search.
