At 7397' elevation in a National Park
One of the best views in the United States of two of the largest glaciers and the Largest Volcano in the Lower 48. An amazing 360 view of the Cascade Range from an unusual man made structure. This is an ecologicaly fragile area and signs warn against wandering off trail for fear of damaging the tough looking but fragile vegitation. For this reason the cache is virtual and adjacent to the trail. If this is attempted in other than the warmest parts of the year the difficulty becomes much higher as steep snow must be crossed. Weather is also a factor as clouds will alter the view. The name came from this being the first time I have recived strong signals on all twelve channels.
