South Mountain Reservation; park in the Elmdale parking area on Brookside Dr,or in the small unnamed parking area across from Elmdale, down the street from Diamond Mill Pond, mostly rough terrain up hill.
hiking shoes or boots and long pants suggested, after you park in Elmdale or across the street, you have to cross the brook. There is an abandond bridge but be careful. Once you cross the brook it's straight up through the woods, you'll pass a horse trail and lenepe trail. You take lenepe (yellow marks on the trees )for a short distance untill you find the small creek, then follow that for a while, the cache is only 12 to14 feet from the creek, but you can't see it right away. Once you find the ammo case and log in,take a couple of pictures then follow the directions I wrote inside for a nice look-out and rest. Have fun, WB
