Kaitoke Regional Park - site of Rivendell in LOTR.
Lovely park but can get busy on a good day - would have liked to hide the cache near the actual film site of Rivendell (not that there is any set left) but far too many people about. After finding the cache do go and have a wander round the park - Swing Bridge track is a lovely short walk through the forest.
Cache is a 1L screw top jar, clear with a dark green lid.
