Blackfoot Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is hidden just off a well-maintained trail in Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area, about a 30 minute drive east of Edmonton. Park in the Waskehegan Staging Area. Then hike (or mountain bike) gently undulating terrain through the woods for a distance of about four kilometers. Expect to see moose, elk, deer, beaver, and numerous waterfowl.
The cache is a three-gallon, green plastic, olive jar with a screw-on lid. Due to the size of the container, please ensure it is well hidden. A notebook and pencil are also included for recording names of successful geocachers. This is Alberta's 17th oldest, active geocache!
