Geocache Description:

Cache is located in the Brooks Woodland Preserve, which is a property of The Trustees of Reservations. Park off of Quaker Dr. in Petersham by the bridge or at Trustees sign.

This is an area of rolling woodlands, meadows and marsh. There is an extensive trail system through the area. There are old foundations, stone walls, and roads from the early farms that were in this area. Before them this was Nipmuck Indian territory. As you approach the side trail to the cache there is a sign that will tell you how I got the name for it.
Cache is in a small ammo box. It contains a log book, the usual trinkets and a bag of dog bones donated by my dog buddy.
