This is an easy-to-reach virtual, on a trail that you can catch several caches on, in a historic area of JTNP..
Park at "Desert Queen" parking area and follow the trail NE
To log the cache, email us the makers name and the numbers on the side of the pump (the 6 numbers are on the East side, & start with a 1 and end in a 0), or post a (non-spoiler) picture of yourself and/or your GPS at the spot. Post your visit and email confirmations at the same time. Please tell us where you are from and about your trip. Inaccurate confirmations will be deleted, without explanation.
The route to the cache is a wide, sandy trail with no significant elevation gain. It's about 1/2 of a mile from the closest parking area and no bushwhacking is required. This is the high desert, always bring your water and watch for snakes!
All these artifacts were owned by a long-time resident of the area and something of a local legend. (This is a historic site, so please - no souvenir-collecting.)
