This virtual cache is a monument located about 1 mile west of West Point, Mississippi on Hwy 50. The area around the monument is where a Civil War battle took place.
To log this cache, email me the name of the battle shown on the monument, the date of the battle, the name of the officer who commanded the troops being honored, and the name of the side that won (Union or Confederacy). There is writing on both sides of the monument, so yes, you will have to get out of your car.
