Geocache Description:

This cache is in an ammo can located approximately one thousand feet off of the Southwest corner of Shelburne Pond.

It’s in a fairly difficult location to reach, but will be easy to find once you are at the coordinates provided. Bring a flashlight. The cache contains authentic Indian artifacts from the Shelburne Pond area, some foreign coins and currency, a CD-ROM, plus plenty of goodies for kids and grownups alike. About one-tenth of a mile south of the Public Access parking lot at Shelburne Pond (off of Pond Road) is a hiking trail off to the West. Follow this trail uphill for about six hundred feet where you will find two huge trees, one of which is dead. Turn about forty-five degrees left and proceed off-trail towards the coordinates provided. (Beware of small holes in the forest floor that drop into caves below.)
