This cache was placed in honor of my 100th find, which will actually be the next cache I find. I have been inspired by several of the excellent puzzles that I have had to solve to find caches. I really love a hunt that makes you think, either before you leave or actually in the field. So I decided I would try my hand at something along the same lines.
You will not have to cut out pieces, watch a movie, or find bus
stops for this one. As a matter of fact, you can (and should) solve it from
the comfort of your own computer chair. See, my friends have always told me
I was a veritable plethora of trivial (well they actually say useless...) facts.
Something I actually take pride in. So to find this cache you have two tasks.
First, follow this link,
once you click the hunt is on. Think like a cacher...
When you locate the end of the cyber-hike you will find a few minor questions to answer. When/if you locate the correct answers, you will be given the actual location of the physical cache. Obviously the coordinates above ARE NOT where you will find the cache, but they are an excellent parking spot to start from. The cache is about 1/4 mile from here on a wide open trail, with a 255 foot elevation drop (yep... down hill TO the cache). Cache is off the main trail, but no real bush-whacking is needed.
If you feel you need extra hints they will cost you. There are three to be found at the end of the cyber-hike, but each one has an additional fun fact to find before you can read it.
Please note: I have tested the pages for this cache with Netscape 7.01 and Internet Explorer 6.0. I am not sure if they will work in other browsers. If you are using another browser and are sure you have the correct answers, but still cannot decrypt the coordinates, please email me your answers and I will send you the location if you are correct.
