Team GPSaxophone: After much thought, we decided to archive this cache. This area gets more nighttime visitors than we had originally thought. We expect it to get worse as the weather gets warmer. Thanks for all of the positive comments on our first cache! Our second one is only about a mile west of here. We'll be placing another one soon.

Geocache Description:

Use the driveway at N35 12.263 W106 42.210 to park close. The name of the cache gives away its location.
The original cache was plundered, so this is now a microcache that blends in well with the surrounding area. We rated the terrain a 2 because it is not handicapped accessible, but is suitable for small children.

This used to be a popular off-road area but was recently closed to motorized vehicles. We've wanted to place this cache for 6 months or more but there were always too many people using the area. Now that it is closed to dirt bikes and 4x4's it is a nice quiet place to hike.

The Bandelier Cliffs cache is about a half-mile to the east. You can hike there from here by going under the bridge.
