A well known grave in Fort Smith's Oak Cemetery that, once seen, raises questions.
Each Memorial Day, City of Fort Smith Parks and Recreation and the Oak Cemetery Commission host a free guided tour through historic Oak Cemetery. On the tour, notable Oak Cemetery residents "rise" from the crypt to tell their own story. "Sweet Woman" was featured in the 2001 "Tales From The Crypt."
Be sure to obey Oak Cemetery rules regarding entry and parking, and as always be sure to respect the dead.
