This is a super wild flower area from March till mid summer. Every month different flowers spring up and the previous ones die out. The cache is located off a paved trail. The oval trail is about 1 mile in length and has a overlook for a waterfall. If you like hiking and wildflowers. Friends of the Columbia Gorge has wildflower hikes every saturday from mid march to early june. They usually have one for this area. You can visit their web site of the same name for a list of the hikes. You can also join Friends of the Columbia Gorge and help preserve this gorgeous area. So if hiking and wildflowers are your cup of tea come visit this area. Please don't step on the flowers and stay off the soft ground for it takes years to recover.
