Cache is a half gallon plastic container with a wide mouth. People with only a little bit of experience should easily find this one, otherwise it may be a little tricky.
UPDATE: MAY 31, 2003 - - - BAD NEWS
While returning from an afternoon of hiding 2 new caches in March, I came back to the Guru cache for maintenance.
Unfortunately the road (and easiest route) to get to the cache has been chained off and a "no tresspassing" sign was posted on the chain.
While it seems as though the cache probably is not on private property, the easiest route to it IS on private property. In regards to this latest event I hopefully will soon be removing the Guru cache from the current location and move it to a better location where any worry of "trespassing" will not be a concern. At this time the cache is still there.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience.
---------------------------------------------------------
As everyone knows the stereotype of a "Guru" is a man that sits on the top of a mountain while contemplating and thinking "deep thoughts".
There is proof that a Guru was here as there is definate evidence of "deep thoughts".
Legend has it that the Guru was meditating and trying to discover the meaning of life... then something suddenly appeared near the place where he was sitting. The first thing that popped into his mind was "Boxcars"!!!
He had stumbled upon the meaning of life and ran to a nearby casino... placed his life savings on the #12 at the dice table. (#12 in casino slang is "Boxcars")
The dice were rolled... and he crapped out. He was now broke.
After chowing down on his comped buffet dinner he returned to the location of "deep thoughts" and threw himself in. His discovery of the meaning of life happened to be the end of his own life.
Please, stay out of the place of "deep thoughts" as your fate may be the same as his... or you may be cited!
This all will make more sense after visiting the cache area.
Incidentally, the nearby casino is the oldest in Nevada. It holds the gaming license number 00004. (Casino licenses 3, 2, and 1 are no longer around.)
This cache has an added bonus for those who find it! It may bring you a lifetime of prosperity, respect, and knowledge... and the right to park in the best parking spaces! Please follow the instructions printed on the yellow paper to confirm.
