The water crashes nearby in the canyon of the "little cliffs". If you look around you can see how this area got its name. This location is another favorite rasmi hangout, especially after a large rainstorm!
***6/19/03 UPDATE***After being temporarily displaced by some non-caching teens, Maddi's Funhouse was found by the "Carlsbad Sundevils" and graciously retrieved and re-placed in a less conspicous place near the original location by "gsamad" on 6/18/03. Thanks to both! The new coordinates posted and I've cleaned out the spoiler pictures and hints to the 1st location. Go find it again. It's a great spot.
Although we routinely hike to this location with many young kids, it can have it's issues and risks. Please heed all trailhead and trail signage, precautions, and rules. Be particularly aware there is poison oak and occasionally rattlesnakes at this locale.
**Update - 3/4/08**
I asked Team Rasmi if I could adopt this cache since they are busy with kids sports. This is a key location in PQ Canyon and I wanted to make sure it was preserved. Cache on everyone, and have FUN!!!
**Update - 4/19/10**
I moved the coords a little to what I think is a better spot that is less likely to be found by rock jumping muggles. Watch out for the thorns - but you don't need to look into any bushes. Cache is under a geo pile in a cubby hole. Updated hint too.
**Update - 2/23/14**
Changed size from Reg to Small. Check hint. Small Green container. Can hold trinkets and Geocoins. Please hide well.
** 2025 UPDATE - 4/29/2025 **
See the updated log. New location due to rangers blocking off most of the Funhouse area. The cache is now a little more out in the open area but still hidden. Please use caution looking for this. Mostly from eyes of muggles. Lots of people come to this area.
