Geocache Description:

Located near the CSA graves in Raymond.

Grant's Vicksburg Campaign Cache 7 of 11.

Placed near the battlefield of Raymond, Mississippi, which is on the national endangered list. A cammo ammo can, 7.62 mm. Cache contains various goodies and a brief history of the Battle of Raymond on the obverse of the Geocahce info sheet. There is a new monument to the Texas troops now located on Highway 18 near the historic marker (next to bridge).

Visit the battlefield and the town of Raymond, many interesting sites in the area.

To see a bust/monument of Gen. Gregg, visit Vicksburg and located the site at coordinates N 32 degrees 20.733 W 90 degrees 51.349.
