This cache was placed on February 1st, 2003. The cache is in a 5.56 mm 840 Cartridge Green Ammo Box. This cache can be approached from two different directions. From one direction, you will have the pay the Red Rock Area Fee and from the other direction it is free….your choice.
In order to get to the cache you will need to do a little hiking and some light scrambling. The view, as always, is great. Anytime you get near Red Rock, there are great views!
We saw a couple of burros and a couple of guys out riding their horses that day. There always seems to be someone out there trying to conquer the mountain….those rock climbers are scary! We cannot even imagine doing that!!
