Who were the minute men:
Although the terms militia and minutemen are sometimes used interchangeably today, in the 18th century there was a decided difference between the two. Militia were men in arms formed to protect their towns from foreign invasion and ravages of war. Minutemen were a small hand-picked elite force which were required to be highly mobile and able to assemble quickly. Minutemen were selected from militia muster rolls by their commanding officers. Typically 25 years of age or younger, they were chosen for their enthusiasm, reliability, and physical strength. Usually about one quarter of the militia served as Minutemen, performing additional duties as such. The Minutemen were the first armed militia to arrive or await a battle.
Who are the minutemen of today
Today the battles we fight and the battle fields we find ourselves on are quite different then those of the 18th century. To OCC the minutemen of today are still chosen for their enthusiasm, reliability, and strength. In addition qualifying men have also proven to be faithful, demonstrate humility with an eagerness to continue to grow in their faith, are servant hearted, and have a willingness to use their gifts for God's kingdom work.
Finding the Cache
I had the idea for this cache and the process to find it while on a Minute Men retreat. It has only taken me 12 months to find the right location to place it in and get the logic down. I hope you have as much finding it as I did planning it.
To visit the Ark of the Minutemen you will need to accomplish 2 stages:
Stage 1
Verse 1

Locate the spot and it will bring a vision of clarity for the next stage.

Cache History:
The first container was definitely stolen as well as the Bison Tube. I hope that a fellow cacher that does not like the subject matter would not pillage a cache.
