On trail from the end of Fountain Park
This is a fairly easy cache that can be done with a family.
The cache is an 3 1/2" diameter by 7 1/2" high round container hidden under some rocks just off the trail. While on the trail take time to look to the east and see Four Peaks (7657') which occasionally will have snow on top and the Fort McDowell Indian Reservation; to the south is the world famous fountain (that goes off on the hour for 10 minutes); and to the north-west McDowell Park and the towns of Rio Verde and Tonto Verde.
Park at the east end of the park, cross the street and the trail starts at N33.36.171, W111.42.522, appearing to go between the houses and up the hill.
After finding the cache you are invited to continue on the trail (another .97 mile) which ends on the north side of the park.
