I don't know why they call it Mudlick Mountain, Boulders Cover with Lichen Mountain is a more apt namen. A nice walk to a cache at about 1223 ft.
Mudlick Mountain is located in the heart of Sam A. Baker state park. Head up the fire tower trail for a 2 mile hike to the top. Or make a day of it and hike up down and all around the mountain on Mudlick trail (12 miles). When you're there stop by the nature center to get up close and personal with some of the insects, plants, live snakes, and turtles in the nature center. If it's a hot day, please be careful to take plenty of water. Have lots of fun.
Original contents of the cache are:
Crocodile hunter Key chain
Emergency Poncho
Poo Pen
Screwdriver
Insect Viewing Net
Mt. Dew Postits
Good Luck Pig
