Geocache Description:

Located near the peak of Los Piños.

Well, I've staked my claim to another peak ! Los Piños Peak is the fourth highest summit in the Santa Ana Mountains. (My first peak claimed by a 'cache is Bedford Peak Stash , which is also a boundry line vertex between Orange and Riverside Counties.) The day I placed this 'cache, the clouds were rolling in like thick fog, so there was almost no view.

I recommend hiking to this location because only the most serious mountain bikers will enjoy parts of this trail.
Cache contents

The original contents of the cache were:

Cool blue Whistle
Hot pink Compass
Soccer ball ping-pong ball
Soccer / Basketball / Baseball / Football Key chain
Yellow camera lens filter
Two tokens
One Susan B. Anthony Dollar Coin
Logbook and pen

all in an ammo can.

The place I parked required a Wilderness Parking Pass, coordinates: N33º39.711 W117º26.891, which made for a rough and rocky 5.2-mile round trip hike.
