Our second cache...located in Cliffside County Park, Racine. It's a nice, easy 1.4 mile walk roundtrip. You won't have to stray far from any evident paths until the last 15 feet or so depending on how you enter.
Since camping is such a big part of our lives, we wanted to dedicate a cache to those who also enjoy one of our favorite pasttimes. Everything in the cache is something that can be used while camping. So, please bring something camping related to trade.
This park does allow camping from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is open from sunrise to 10pm. Sorry, no pets allowed even though we did see a few on our visits.
Watch your step! It seems that the trails have quite a few animal "visitors" who like to do their business.
Parking can be found at Picnic Area #3. Start your journey at the trailhead just past the monkey bars.
Be sure to stop to take in the view at N42 49.632 W087 49.048. Be careful not to fall down the bluff!
