This is a multi-stage cache in Valparaiso, Indiana. It is basically a tour of my neighborhood, and the difficulty is mainly due to the walking necessary, not the terrain.
You may want to print these directions and take them with you...
1) The first location is a marker detailing a neat fact about the area. Find the year on the marker and add it to 26208. This will give you: N 41 XXXXX, W 087 03.595, the location of the next marker.
2) Take the numerical month (January would be 1) this marker was erected, and put that number in the following: N 41 27.X42, W 087 03.644, the location of the next marker.
3) Add the 4-digit year of recovery to the number 26111 to get: N 41 XXXXX, W 087 03.533, a building you'll have to enter for the next clue.
4) Enter one of my favorite places, where I'm typing this now in fact, and search for: REF 977.29 CAN V.1. Turn to page 699 for your next location. Please don't bother the ladies, or they might want to remove the clue! You may like to read some of this neat stuff about Valpo.
5) Find the last stone memorial, and add the 4-digit year erected to 2207 to get: N 41 28.736, W 087 0XXXX, the ultimate location of the cache.
