This is a designated DNR hunting area. Please be respectful of the hunters - check for the open seasons. There is a trail, good at the start, that keeps you out out of the swamp all the way.
The hike is only 0.2 miles from the best starting point otherwise you bushwhack. The cache is an pill bottle with a little space for small trade items. The original container disappeared so we replaced it with this ammo can and now the ammo can is gone so it is back to a pill bottle that contains a small log sheet and pencils. Please replace exactly as found with appropriate cammo so as to avoid casual detection from passer by hunters.
