This cache is in Mingo Creek County Park,Washington County.
It can be accessed via RT 136. Follow signs to the park,then stay on the main park road to find the parking coordinates.
The first parking coordinates will give you a longer walk, but a drier one. The cache is @.33 mile from the first parking area. Walk on the road until you get to a metal bridge and cross it. At the 20 mph sigh you will see a trail on your left, follow it along the creek.
The second parking area is closer to the cache but you will need to cross the creek (which can be enjoyable in the summer), but impossible in the winter.
The first parking coordinates are N 40 11.704, W 080 02.239.
The second parking option can be found at N 40 12.009,
W 080 01.952.
This cache is a regular cache and it is in an Ammo Box.
We wanted to honor our furry friends by making this a Dog cache. Our dogs Tucker and Foster (the corgis of corgi cachers)named it after our first dog Opie. We have all visited Mingo regularly for many years and taken many walks
together. The cache contains 4 tennis balls, 2 bandannas, and a dog collar. Please bring a dog toy or item (please no food or treats), if you don't have a dog toy feel free to leave whatever you desire. Let your furry caching buddy pick
out a toy for him or herself, if they didn't come along, just take something home for them.
This is our first placement of a cache and all suggestions are appreciated. The GPS was jumpy, so let us know if you have trouble locating the cache.
