Formally "#2 Post and a Panorama". I have adopted this cache and have added the cache to the "GeoBuford was here" series of caches. This series is meant to get you out to places that most people will never get to. Hope you enjoy the series.
Off the River Mountain Trail in Boulder City... sit and enjoy the beautiful view!
This trail is very well marked with stones and well-maintained. Even though it's an easy, clean trail to follow, there are elevation changes and most of it follows a VERY steady incline. Up, up, UP! For that reason we've just upgraded it to a 3 for terrain rating.
To prevent destruction and erosion of the desert terrain, please keep to the trail and try not to go overland. Take plenty of water and watch for the usual desert critters!
