Easy walk until the last bit then it is a rather steep rocky trail. Dogs would love it - little kids might but watch out for dropoffs.
We had to replace this cache since some miscreant absconded with the other one. It is relatively close to the original but a bit more out of the way.
Take the Lost Lake turn off the Dee Highway. When you cross the bridge take the right fork to Punchbowl Rd. Stay right at the next intersection - don't take Green Rd. After you go around the bend there is some parking on the right. If you go across the bridge you went to far but there are some nice views from the bridge. Walk around the gate and you are on your way. The Punchbowl and the West Fork are to your left as you go down the trail. You might see kayakers coming down the chute or some brave soul jumping off the ledge into the water. The last part of the trail if steep and rocky. The GPS might tell you to head through the brush but you can follow the trail around. Go down almost to where the rivers meet and then follow a trail back up along the East Fork. The cache is in an ammo box filled with goodies and an Oregon Geocoin.
